In light of the development of the new COVID-19 variant, Beat regrets to announce that the Eating Disorders International Conference will NOT be taking place as planned at the University of Strathclyde. Instead Beat will be running EDIC virtually on Wednesday 23rd and Thursday 24th March 2022.

We have been monitoring the COVID 19 developments closely and continuously and while we have been making every possible adjustment to ensure we could continue with the event, we must put the health and safety of our attendees first and not put any further strain on the medical profession at this unprecedented time.

The Scientific Programme Committee will still be scoring all abstracts that have been submitted to be considered for presentation at the virtual conference on 23rd & 24th March 2022. We will be in touch again in the New Year to confirm if your abstract submission has been accepted and what virtual format it will take.

If you have any questions regarding your abstract submission in the meantime, please don’t hesitate to contact the team on edic@beateatingdisordrs.org.uk.

Thank you to everyone who submitted an abstract submission.

The Scientific Programme Committee will begin reviewing the submitted abstracts shortly. We will be in touch in the New Year to confirm if your abstract submission has been successful.
