Dr Carla Figueiredo

Dr Carla Figueiredo is a Consultant Psychiatrist working with the Dorset Healthcare Eating Disorders Service since 2010. She qualified in medicine in South Africa and undertook her specialist training in General Adult Psychiatry in Wessex. Carla has been treating both Adult and Young People with Eating Disorders in an All Age Integrated Eating Disorders Service for the past 8 years.

Over the last 18 months, she has been the Lead Mental Health Clinician for the Wessex ComPASSION Pilot looking into the management of people with Type 1 Diabetes and Eating Disorders.
