Jacqueline Ryder is a Diabetes Specialist Nurse (DSN) and has been working at the Bournemouth Diabetes and Endocrine Centre for the past 20 years. More recently she has been working as part of the joint T1DE team in Dorset and is passionate about raising awareness and supporting people with T1DE to access appropriate support.
Since 2004 she has been facilitating Bournemouth’s Education, Resources & Training in Insulin & Eating (BERTIE) structured education programme for patients with type 1 diabetes and also facilitates Bournemouth’s Insulin Dose Adjustment Course (BIDAC) & Insulin Pump course for health care professionals.
Her other areas of interest are supporting patients on insulin pump therapy and Flash & Continuous Glucose Monitoring.
