Kel O'Neill

Kel was diagnosed with Anorexia while studying at university and after some unsuccessful treatment later found her way into recovery with the support of a private therapist. Following her personal journey she started volunteering for Beat because she wanted to let others know that recovery IS possible!

Through volunteering Kel started to meet others with lived experience of eating disorders and soon decided she wanted to go back to university an retrain as a counsellor, during her postgraduate qualification Kel researched weight bias. Almost 15 years later she now runs her own successful counselling and training service.
