For the last 22 years Micki has worked with the Eating Disorder team in Dorset. Two years ago with colleagues from the team and the Bournemouth Diabetes and Endocrine service she started working with people with Type 1 Diabetes and Eating Disorders.
Her interest in this area was sparked after reading of the increased incidence of Eating Disorders in Type 1 and the realisation that there were none being seen by the team she worked with.
Micki is retiring this year and hopes to rekindle her love or travel.
