Nicola Stacey

Nicola Stacey is a diabetes specialist nurse at Royal Bournemouth hospital and conducts a range of outpatient diabetes clinics including diabetes technology, antenatal care and provides structured education.

Nicola has a special interest in mental health and living with diabetes and is involved in the NHS National CompASSION project for people with T1DE (T1 diabetes and disordered eating).

Nicola is passionate about education and committed to raising awareness and understanding of T1DE. Nicola is co-author of national guidelines “The medical risk assessment for T1DE”.
