The Eating Disorders International Conference will still take place on Wednesday 23rd & Thursday 24th March 2022. However, due to the growing concerns over the new COVID-19 variant, we will be running the conference virtually NOT at the University of Strathclyde as planned.
This has been a very difficult decision for us to make, but we must put the health and safety of our attendees first and not put any further strain on the medical profession at this unprecedented time.
If you have any further questions or concerns, please email the team on edic@beateatingdisorders.org.uk.
You do not need to take any further action, your ticket has been transferred over to the virtual conference. The team will be in touch very shortly with more information. This will include options for re-allocating and/or being refunded for the difference between the price you paid for your ticket and the new price for the online event.
Yes, please contact the team on edic@beateatingdisorders.org.uk who will assist you with your refund request. We will reply and process your refund as soon as we can, but please bear with us in the first instance as we don’t know how many people will need a refund, and we’re a little short staffed over Christmas.
No, in line with our policy disclaimer we are unable to refund travel or accommodation costs. We would advise checking with your travel insurance provider, travel provider or accommodation for advice on refunds.
